Geboren 1973 in Karl-Marx-Stadt (Chemnitz).
Studium der Mediävistik, Neueren deutschen Literatur und Theaterwissenschaft / Kulturelle Kommunikation an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
Thema der Magisterarbeit: Einsame Texte, die auf Geschichte warten – Revolution(s)Theater in postrevolutionären Zeiten am Beispiel der Maßnahme-Mauser-Inszenierung von Frank Castorf an der Berliner Volksbühne 2008.
Von 2000 – 2015 freie Mitarbeiterin an der Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in den Abteilungen der Dramaturgie, Regie, Projekt- und Musikalischen Leitung und ab 2006 Organisation des Chors der Werktätigen Volksbühne, selbst Mitglied und an Volksbühnen-Produktionen beteiligt. Die intensive Beschäftigung / Auseinandersetzung mit den Texten / Arbeiten Heiner Müllers ab 1994 führten im Januar 2009 zur Gründung der virtuellen Muellercompany.Berlin, einer Schnittstelle für Dramatik, Theater, Musik, Film, Tanz und Malerei.
Seit 2010 aktives Mitglied der Internationalen Heiner Müller Gesellschaft (Assistenz der Geschäftsführung) und seit 2014 im Förderverein Theaterdokumentation e.V. Berlin.

Born in 1973 in Chemnitz, more widely known as the Karl-Marx-City, Franziska Katharina Huhn later studied Medieval and Contemporary German Literature and Theater, as well as Cultural Communications at the Humboldt-University in Berlin. Her master’s thesis focused on solitary texts that await history: revolutionary theater in post-revolutionary times. For example, she examined the Maßnahme-Mauser-Inszenierung (the method production of “Mauser”) from Frank Castorf at the Berlin Volksbühne in 2008. Starting in 1997, Huhn began collecting professional experience at the Schauspielhaus Chemnitz, Theater unterm Dach Berlin (Theater Under Cover), and Theaterkappelle Friedrichshain. From 2006 to 2014 she also regularly worked at the Berlin Volksbühne as a freelance worker. The author engaged herself, in addition to other work, in the departments of dramaturgy, directing, project and musical direction and obtained at the Volksbühne the opportunity to implement her own text compositions. Since 2006 Huhn has organized the choir of the Werktätigen Volksbühne, through which she often acts as a fellow member and regularly is able to take part in Volksbühnen-Productions. The intensive occupation and confrontation with the texts and work of Heiner Müller after 1994 lead to the creation in January 2009 of the virtual Muellercompany in Berlin, a port for dramatics, theater, music, film, dance and painting. Since 2010 Huhn has been an active member of the International Heiner Müller Society and since 2014 she has been a member in the Association Theaterdokumentation e.V. in Berlin.
